Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any service with Highland Paws. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Highland Paws offers the following services to clients in the Southern Highlands, NSW:
All services are provided at our home premises or in the local Southern Highlands area unless otherwise agreed in writing. We do not provide in-home visits to client properties.
All bookings are made and managed through our online client portal. A booking is confirmed only once it has been accepted and payment has been processed.
All payments are processed securely online. We do not accept cash or direct bank transfers.
For wedding day bookings, a deposit may be required to hold the date — this will be confirmed at time of enquiry.
To cancel, please do so through the Time To Pet portal or contact us at [email protected]. Cancellations are not valid until acknowledged by Highland Paws.
Highland Paws reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time in the event of unforeseen circumstances or if a dog is deemed a safety risk. In such cases a full refund will be issued.
All dogs must have a current C5 vaccination before any service commences. C5 covers:
Proof of current C5 vaccination is required before your first booking is confirmed. It is your responsibility to keep vaccinations current for future bookings.
All dogs in our care must be desexed. This applies to all services including dog walking, daycare, overnight boarding, and the wedding day service. This requirement is non-negotiable and applies regardless of age, breed, or temperament. We reserve the right to decline or terminate a booking if this requirement is not met.
All dogs must be treated with a current, vet-recommended flea and tick prevention product prior to any service. We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog showing signs of active infestation.
We accept a maximum of two (2) client dogs at our home at any one time. We also have two resident dogs of our own. By booking, you consent to your dog being in the company of our resident dogs and potentially one other client dog.
We conduct a meet and greet prior to the first boarding or daycare booking to assess compatibility. We reserve the right to decline or end a booking if a dog displays persistent aggression or poses a safety risk.
Please inform us of any known health conditions, injuries, medications, or behavioural concerns prior to booking.
In the event of a medical emergency, Highland Paws is authorised to seek emergency veterinary treatment without prior consent if we are unable to reach you. You are responsible for all veterinary costs incurred. By booking, you agree to reimburse any veterinary expenses paid on your behalf.
Two dogs from the same household may be booked together and will occupy both available slots. A small discount applies — confirmed at time of booking.
The Wedding Day Service includes collection, ceremony or photo attendance, and overnight boarding. Priced from $300 — final pricing confirmed based on travel, duration, and requirements.
A deposit is required to secure the date. The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations within 14 days of the wedding date. We recommend a meet and greet prior to the event. This service is entirely subject to the wedding venue being dog friendly. It is the client's responsibility to confirm this with their venue prior to booking. Highland Paws accepts no liability if the service cannot proceed due to venue restrictions.
Highland Paws takes all reasonable precautions while your dog is in our care. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Highland Paws is not liable for any loss, injury, illness, or death of your dog that occurs despite reasonable care being taken. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Personal information collected is used only for delivering our services, stored securely through Time To Pet, and not shared with third parties except as required to deliver our services (e.g. a veterinarian in an emergency).
Highland Paws may update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be published at highlandpaws.com.au. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
